UMKC Activity and Program Council

About APC

APC (short for Activity & Program Council) is a student organization that creates, organizes and presents many of the activities on the UMKC campus. APC members plan a variety of social, cultural, recreational and educational events for UMKC students and occasionally the Kansas City community.

APC offers more than just awesome events. Being a part of APC is a great way to meet other students, get involved at UMKC and have a lot of fun! The skills and leadership abilities you develop with APC will help you in school and beyond.

Members learn time management, how to plan and implement a project, handle budgets, negotiate and how to work with a team to address challenges and achieve goals. These are skills employers look for when you begin your career after UMKC.

The purpose of the Activity & Program Council is to provide quality social, educational and entertainment-based activities and programs to the UMKC student body and community that address the six areas of the Wellness Wheel: emotional, intellectual, occupational, physical, social and spiritual well-being.
