UMKC Activity and Program Council

So you accept the challenge to be a student leader...

The purpose of the Activity & Program Council will be to provide quality social, educational and entertainment-based activities and programs to the UMKC student body and community. The Activity & Program Council will strive to build school spirit and to provide individual students with opportunities in leadership development, programming, and arts and events management.

The focus of the programming structure is to foster an experience that nurtures intellectual and moral development of the student. The advisor(s) will facilitate an experience that is productive and beneficial for the entire campus community while guiding the students development through the many stages of moral and intellectual change. APC will strive to provide a variety of programming, and realizes that recognizing the whole person allows us to respond more accurately to the specific needs and interests of the student body.

APC Coordinators are the student leaders of the Activity and Program Council. They have excellent communication skills, creativity, and are very enthusiastic about their jobs!
